Update virus definitions for Mac endpoints in ConnectWise Automate

The Malwarebytes OneView integration with ConnectWise® Automate™ provides the ability to update Malwarebytes virus definitions within your ConnectWise Automate console and to show Malwarebytes as the default Antivirus.

Update Malwarebytes definitions for Mac

1. Open your ConnectWise Automate Console, then select System Dashboard.
2. Select Config, then click Configurations.
3. Navigate to the Virus Scan tab and complete the information for the following fields below:
   • Name: Malwarebytes Mac 
   • Program Location: /Library/Application Support/Malwarebytes/Malwarebytes Endpoint Agent/EndpointAgentDaemon.app/Contents/MacOS/EndpointAgentDaemon
   • AP Process: EndpointAgent*
     
4. Verify the same AP process and Program location are showing under processes on your computer.
5. Select Commands, then select Inventory, then click Resend everything.
6. When completed, select Profile icon, then click Reload system cache.
7. Close the ConnectWise console and open it again. Verify that Malwarebytes OneView is now displayed under the Antivirus tile in your console.
   • Note: It may take 5-10 minutes for the Malwarebytes OneView to appear under Antivirus Tile.
