Version 2.37.4 August 29, 2023

Features and improvements

Endpoint Agent

  • Windows software updates for NCEP Service Package 4.6.0.277, NCEP Component Package 1.0.2100, and OPSWAT SDK 4.3.3653
  • Overhauled our protection approach to universally prevent the latest memory injection tactics from being used on any Malwarebytes component.
  • We've included support for the Transmission app. This means our customers now have the option to use our Application Block features to prevent it from running.

Version 2.37.2 August 23, 2023

Features and improvements

  • No features this release.

Issues fixed

    • The event type for creating a site is now listed as ‘site created’ instead of ‘account created’.
    • Updated the event details to display what action was taken by the user in addition to the user’s email address.
    • Downloading events to either a .csv or .xlxs now works as expected.
    • When clicking on a licensed changed event type, the slideout is no longer blank.

Features and improvements

OneView

  • Introduced the Events page in OneView, enabling users to access their Event log for a comprehensive insight into event activity across all sites.
  • Introduced Scan History to provide an overview of a scan performance and results from within OneView.

Issues fixed

    • Removed access to the legacy Download Center through a Site's Nebula console.
    • Issue that prevented some accounts from downloading the Monthly Usage Report.

Issues fixed

    • Grouping by type on the Detections page was not returning the correct data.
    • Issue with configuring and finalizing Managed Detection and Response (MDR) or Managed Threat Hunting (MTH) if a forward slash was included in the name.
    • Issue where the logged in user was not showing in the list of users for support cases.

Features and improvements

OneView

  • Introducing the ability to create, view, and manage site-specific policies. Additionally, policies can be cloned and assigned to different sites.

Endpoint Agent

  • Windows software updates for Engine 1.2.1057, Service 1.2.549, EP Plugin 1.2.1172, UserAgent 1.2.481, Asset Plugin 1.2.634, OPSWAT SDK 4.3.3625.0
  • Improved methods of determining when agent running on a FIPS enabled machine to properly run in that environment.
  • Resolved issue where OPSWAT DB updates not honoring Pause Software Update policy setting when enabled.
  • Resolved issue of NCEP scans missing scheduled task when machine was offline.
  • Added feature when policy setting is enabled, prevents Standard User from interacting with Tray options.
  • Added a new log file that catalogs every agent-related command run on an endpoint machine and the results of the action.
  • Handled a rare exception where Early Launch Antimalware (ELAM) driver failed to initialize which prevented EA to complete its own initialization. Agent will now send error alert to Console when this happens but continues with its initialization.
  • Several performance improvements along with definition and product signature updates to the VPM applications catalog.

Issues fixed

    • Issue where the Update Software button was not displaying on the vulnerabilities slideout until rows were selected.
    • Issues with trials for both Upfront and Hybrid billed accounts as well as general subscription management. These fixes include, but are not limited to, the occasional inability to extend a trial, convert a trial to paid, allocate all available trial licenses, create a Not for Resale (NFR) site, and advance to the Add-ons step while managing a subscription.
    • Issue with the slide-out appearing transparent.
