Malwarebytes Endpoint Protection and Malwarebytes Endpoint Detection and Response subscriptions include a comprehensive list of applications to protect. This list is the default set of applications protected by our Anti-Exploit technology. Anti-Exploit technology is a multi-layered protection module in Malwarebytes that prevents exploit attacks that target vulnerabilities found in these applications.
To find the list of protected applications in the Nebula console:
- On the left navigation menu, go to Configure > Policies.
- Click New or select an existing policy.
- Select Protection settings.
- Under Exploit Protection, click Advanced settings > Manage protected applications.
When you click Manage protected applications, a window displays the full list of applications that Malwarebytes protects. By default, protection for these apps is enabled. See below for the full list:
Important: Exploit Protection improvements were performed in our last update to provide increased protection against the latest threats. We’ve also updated policy protection settings automatically to keep you safe.
Default Protected Applications that were previously disabled have been re-enabled, except for the following:
- Java: java.exe
