The user profile settings allow you to change your appearance settings, enable remote assistance, and update security settings. Go to your display name > Profile.

The General tab allows you to change how the console looks.
Your display name is the first and last name entered when you create the user account. It shows in the upper right corner of the console.
Date and time format
These settings change the date and time format displayed in Nebula. The default format is MM/DD/YYYY and H:MM:SS A. For the time zone, Nebula stores data in UTC time and converts it to display in your device's time zone.
The theme is the color scheme applied to your Nebula console. There are three themes available:
- Automatic: Automatically applies the theme based on your device settings.
- Dark: A dark theme with grey and black tones and white text.
- Light: A light theme with white tones and black text.
The Help button in the bottom right is our chatbot. The chatbot helps you find answers to common product questions or connects you with a support agent. Toggle off Show the help widget to search knowledge base articles to hide the button.
Suspicious Activity page
The Suspicious Activity page shows suspicious activities found by Endpoint Detection and Response. For Endpoint Protection or Incident Response customers, toggle off Show the Suspicious Activity page to hide the page.
The Remote Assistance option allows Support to impersonate your user account. Enabling this grants Support the same level of permissions as your account. Actions taken by Support during impersonation show as actions taken by your account. The setting is automatically disabled after 72 hours or after Support impersonates the account.
The Security tab allows you to protect your user account.
This setting allows you to change your login password.
If your Nebula environment is configured to require 2FA, this setting allows you to reset 2FA for your account. This logs you out of Nebula and requires you to set up 2FA upon your next login.
When your Nebula environment does not require 2FA, this setting allows you to enable 2FA. For setup instructions, see Two-factor authentication in Nebula.
Session timeout settings
The session timeout setting defines how long the console can remain inactive before you are automatically logged out of Nebula. It is set to 15 minutes by default.
