The user profile settings allow users to change the console's appearance and update the profile security settings. To access the user profile settings, go to display name > Profile.
Appearance Settings
The appearance settings change how the console looks for the user.
Set time zone
OneView stores data in UTC time, and the console displays content in the device's time zone. This allows the user to set the time zone data displayed in the console.
Help center
The Help button at the bottom right is our chatbot. The chatbot helps find answers to common product questions or connects the user with a support agent.
Resource center
The Resource Center at the top right walks users through setting up sites, deploying endpoints, and scanning endpoints.
Company logo
Upload a company logo to include on the Security Summary reports. Uploaded images are displayed and specific to that user's profile.
Color selection
This setting changes the background color of the side menu, header, and buttons in the console for the user.
Security Settings
Use security settings to safeguard the user's profile and receive help from the support team.
Change password
This setting allows the user to change the login password.
Change Session Timeout
The session timeout setting defines how long the console can remain inactive until it automatically closes the session. The default setting is 15 minutes.
Enable two-factor authentication
If 2FA is required to log in to OneView, this setting allows the user to reset their 2FA when they change authenticator apps.
If 2FA is not required, this setting allows the user to enable 2FA for their account. For details, see Two-factor authentication (2FA) settings in OneView.
Allow Read/Write access to Support
This setting gives the Support team the ability to impersonate the user and grants them the same permissions as the user in the console. While impersonating, actions performed by Support display as actions performed by the user. In the drop-down menu, select how long Support has to impersonate the user.
